Where can I gaze upon the land of China? Before my eyes, the scenery of Beigu Tower!
The springtime radiates with vibrant beauty, and willow catkins drift gently through the air. Seizing the delightful late-spring weather, Changzhou Gaoke organized a day trip to Jinshan and Beigu Mountain in Zhenjiang on April 11th. On that sunny morning, perhaps stirred by the charm of spring itself, Jinshan was bustling with visitors drawn by its fame. This “Mountain of Immortals” is steeped in fascinating tales and legends—indeed, it’s here that the famous scene from “The Legend of the White Snake,” where “the waters flood Jinshan Temple,” is set. At the same time, as an ancient Zen monastery renowned both at home and abroad, Jinshan continues to attract countless devotees who come to burn incense and pay their respects to the Buddha. Following our guide all along the way, we passed through Jiangtian Chan Temple and arrived before the Guanyin Pavilion, where we humbly bowed our heads and quietly expressed our heartfelt wishes.
