Sun Xiaojing, South China Sales Director at Gao Kai Technology, attended this forum accompanied by a solution for potting equipment and shared on-site insights into the challenges of potting in IGBT manufacturing processes.
In recent years, with the rapid development of fields such as smart grids and new-energy vehicles, power electronic device IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) has played a crucial role in areas including power transmission, industrial control, and electric vehicles. To enhance the reliability and performance of IGBTs, Gaoke Technology has empowered this core component by leveraging potting technology, thereby achieving more stable and efficient operation.
This technology involves applying a special adhesive during the IGBT encapsulation process to form a high-viscosity adhesive layer with excellent insulating properties, thereby providing additional protection and enhanced heat dissipation. During the presentation, Gao Kai Technology introduced the principles and advantages of the potting technology. Compared to conventional processes, the potting technology better meets the requirements for insulation, moisture resistance, and anti-interference between chips and circuitry, thus improving the stability and reliability of IGBTs.
