On the morning of June 30, Mayor Fei Gaoyun, during a special research visit to Changzhou Science and Education City, called for the city to further seize the opportunities presented by the construction of the Southern Jiangsu National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. In driving Changzhou’s industrial transformation and upgrading and in the process of building a first-class smart manufacturing hub nationwide, the city should better play its role as an “innovation core.” The piezoelectric valve product series was one of the key products showcased during this research visit. Our company possesses completely independent intellectual property rights and is currently the only domestic supplier of piezoelectric valve products. We should further expand and extend the Changzhou model of “integration of economy, education, and science; collaboration among industry, academia, and research; and win-win cooperation among universities, research institutes, and enterprises,” enhance the attraction of high-end resources, and establish a number of manufacturing innovation centers that will play a leading role in their respective industries. We must vigorously build and improve the innovation ecosystem, promote close integration between science and technology and finance, and elevate the city’s overall innovation capacity. We should intensify efforts to innovate institutional mechanisms and systems, fully unleashing the enormous potential of science and technology as the primary productive force and innovation as the primary driving force.
Xu Guanghui, a member of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Science and Education City, and Li Lin, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, accompanied the research team.
